SECTION FUNCTIONS
CIVIL REGISTRATION UNIT
- Regulating the Civil Registry Office staff
- Approve all drafts/ clean orders for Civil cases
- Approve all drafts/ net judgments for Civil cases
- Approve all Small Claims Summons and Judgment Debtor Summons and Writs of Execution for the Magistrate's Court
- Register the registration of new Civil cases under Code 71, 72, 73, 74.
- Manage the Implementation matters carried out by the Court Bailiff.
- Manage the preparation of monthly Civil statistics and whenever directed by the Perak State Court Director's Office
CRIME REGISTRATION UNIT
- Regulating the staff of the Crime Registry
- Issuing Arrest Warrants, Search Warrants and other applications from the authorities and signing Arrest Warrants, Orders, Orders to submit summons, register books and other related matters including bail matters for arrest cases
- Registering Traffic Summons, Department Summons, Child Cases and so on. Updating the Cause Register book of the cases.
- Signing and approving subpoenas for the attendance of witnesses to Court for trial
- Managing remand matters under Sec.117 KAJ and APD
- Manage the preparation of monthly Crime statistics and whenever directed by the Perak State Court Director's Office
COMMISSIONER OF OATH UNIT
- Carry out the duties and services of the commissioner of oaths as stipulated in the Rules of the Commissioner of Oaths 2018.
- Checking and accepting sworn statements and statutory declarations
- Be a witness to documents authorized by law and subject to the Letter of Instruction by the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court of Malaysia dated 3 November 2015
- Receive and submit documents for Certified Copies to the Magistrate.
EXECUTION UNIT
- Conduct public auctions, execution of Distress Writs, Arrest Warrants, Surrender Writs and Possession Writs as ordered by the court.
- Receive, process execution deposit money from lawyers
- Prepare the Bailiff's Statement and set the execution date after all the paperwork is in order
- Prepare monthly statistics as directed by the State Court Director's Office.
- Updating the Implementation Cause Book.
FINANCIAL UNIT
- Running the operation of the Revenue and Payment Unit, which is to process and account for all types of payments and receipts correctly, accurately and perfectly.
- Process revenue receipts, deposits and issue official receipts to payers.
- Process Bank Statements and enter receipts into the bank before office hours promptly without fail.
- Prepare the Monthly Receipts Account document for audit purposes
- Process all travel claim payments, transfer / exchange allowances at the Parit Buntar Magistrate's Court.
- Process rental contract bill claims and other services
- Managing Retail Cashiers
- Record in Court book 4, Kew28 Ledger Book and Quarterly Report.
- Process Court deposit refunds.
ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT
- Ensuring the management of office space and office equipment is carried out in an orderly and perfect manner.
- Ensure and coordinate the security of documents in accordance with the prescribed Act.
- Ensure office and building security management is carried out in an orderly and perfect manner
- Ensure that every asset / store item received meets the specified specifications, quality and quantity ordered according to the order. Store goods received in good condition, perfect and safe to use.
- Ensure perfect office and building security management.
- Monitor and supervise the tasks of contractors appointed by the Responsibility Center, namely cleaning, security and other contractors.
- Receive and record correspondence from the Parit Buntar Court Magistrate before it is distributed to officers from the responsible unit.
- Conducting postal affairs at the Post Office.
- Supervise and monitor rest leave, sick leave, emergency leave and other leaves for all employees at the Parit Buntar Magistrate's Court
- Updating the personal files of staff and officials at the Parit Buntar Magistrate's Court.
