The Ipoh Court Mediation Center (ICMC) began operating in November 2016 and was officiated by the Highest Tun Raus Sharif, Chief Justice on February 22, 2018.

At the beginning of the establishment of cases referred to the ICMC were cases of the High Court, the Sessions Court, and the Ipoh Magistrates' Court only, but since 2022 court cases outside the Ipoh district have also begun to apply to ICMC for mediation

The mediators assigned to the ICMC are among the Sessions Court judges, the Deputy Registrar, the Magistrate, and the Senior Assistant Registrar on the turn and the date of the mediator date
