TAIPING CIVIL SESSIONS COURT REGISTRATION UNIT

• Regulating the staff of the Civil Sessions Court Registry.
• Approve all drafts/ clean orders for Sessions Court cases.
• Approve all drafts/clean judgments for Sessions Court cases.
• Approve all Distress Writs and Judgment Debtor Summons and Execution Writs for the Sessions Court.
• Approving the registration of new Civil Sessions Court cases & Criminal cases.
• Managing the preparation of statistics for the Taiping Civil Sessions Court.

TAIPING CRIMINAL SESSIONS COURT REGISTRATION UNIT

• Regulating the staff of the Criminal Sessions Court Registry & new cases of Civil cases.
• Issuing Arrest Warrants, Search Warrants and other applications from the authorities and signing Arrest Warrants, Orders, Orders to submit summons, register books and other related matters including bail matters for arrest cases.
• Signing and approving subpoenas for the attendance of witnesses to Court for trial.
• Managing the preparation of Taiping Criminal Sessions Court statistics.

TAIPING CIVIL SESSIONS COURT MEDIATION UNIT

• For cases referred before the trial, Case Management is referred to the Mediation Room at the direction of the Judge.
• The parties fill out the Mediation Form and the Mediation center receives the necessary documents and sends them to the Mediator.
• Mediation is attended by both parties and the Mediator can handle the Mediation in one session if the next date needs to be set.
• Successful Mediation records the results in a consent judgment.
• Unsuccessful mediation recorded in the Cause Book.
• Manage Taiping Civil Court Mediation statistics.

TAIPING LOWER COURT ADMINISTRATIVE UNIT

• Regulating all administration involving officers & staff of the Taiping Lower Court.
• Regulating store goods and assets in the Taiping Court.
• Regulating finances at the Taiping Court.
• Responsible for looking after the welfare of Taiping Court staff by reporting to the Head of Department the need for repairs.
